Mantri Krishna Mohan
In between you and me?
What is that hindrance, which stands as a block?
May be the age gap of one or two years
Or the thick dark nights we spent lazily, for three or four years.
When you extended your hand
I shuffle myself as a ‘touch me not plant’.
When I open my fist
you unkind fully, tried to severe your hand,

What is that hinders, as a block, in between you and me?
May be a frozen sea, duly stricken in grief.
and an agonized lake, which has no over bridge at all.

When you raise your right hand
I stretch my left one,
When I turned towards the left
You turn, your face back.

What is that hinders as a block, in between you and me?
May be some unavoidable flaming moments
And some tearful curtains
Untouched conversations
Or un bloomed hearts.
You, on my shoulder
And I am on your shoulder.
We are so timid
And hence never dared, to place hands, on each others’.

What is that hindrance, which stands as a block between you and me?
may be repentances un melted
or not lessened egoistic stances.
